The butterfly gnomon casts a shadow to denote the time on the Roman numerals surrounding the face. Both the butterfly and flowers are formed in exquisite detail, beautifully accented by the hand-applied verdigris finish. As the verdigris finish is hand-applied, individual color may vary.
